Little Rock, AR: The SportStar Management family of clients continues to
grow as they announce an agreement to represent Arkansas Baptist
College in a multiple year deal. SportStar will hold the exclusive rights for
multi-media corporate sponsorship sales and marketing opportunities for
Arkansas Baptist College athletics.

The Arkansas Baptist College Buffaloes 2006-2007 basketball season for
both men and women tipped off this past week on November 1st.
KASR 92.7 will serve as the radio broadcast partner. ABC is currently in
the process of planning and scheduling for football in 2007 with home
games to be played at War Memorial Stadium.

2006 Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame Inductee Coach Charles Ripley has
volunteered his time, talent and passion for the development of young
adults to the cause at Arkansas Baptist College. Coach “Rip” as most
Arkansans know him is serving as the Athletic Director and Head
Basketball Coach. The Arkansas Baptist motto is simply stated: “Taking
Care of Our Own”. Coach Ripley added, “Many young student athletes
are denied the opportunity to participate in athletics at the college level.
Arkansas Baptist gives them the opportunity to use athletics as a tool to
achieve a college education. We are very excited about our partnership
with SportStar.”

Division II level so we are looking forward to getting into the Junior
College arena. I have known Coach Rip since I was a child growing up

project. If there has ever been anyone who exemplifies character,
integrity and the dedication to the youth of Arkansas it is Coach Charles
Ripley.”
