Little Rock, AR: Just as the college football season comes to a close and
all thoughts turn to basketball, Henderson State and Ouachita Baptist
University in conjunction with SportStar Management invite everyone to
join Coleman Dairy at the Duke Wells Center on the campus of Henderson
State University in Arkadelphia on Thursday January 25th 2007.
The fifth oldest rivalry in college football will shift to the hardwoods as
Henderson State hosts Ouachita Baptist. The Lady Reddies will take on
the Lady Tigers at 5:30pm with the men scheduled to hit the court
immediately afterwards.
A special check presentation to the Clark County Community Foundation
will be made at intermission. The 2006 Coleman Dairy Battle of the Ravine
played at Carpenter-Haygood Stadium drew a paid attendance of nearly
2,000 fans that witnessed the Reddies defeat the Tigers 48-28 which tied
the series 37-37-6 in the 80th meeting between the schools. The Clark
County Community Foundation was chosen as the Coleman Dairy Battle

behalf of HSU, OBU and Coleman Dairy. The game was also sponsored
in part by the Arkadelphia Chamber of Commerce, The Daily Siftings
Herald and the Hot Springs Sentinel-Record.
